Surpassing Cyphochilus scales in optical scattering strength by well-controlled electrospun nanostructures: errata

Abstract

Two typographical corrections are made for our recently published paper [Opt. Mater. Express 12(7), 2529 (2022) [CrossRef]  ]. The results, discussion, and conclusion of the paper are unaffected.

Errata

Two corrections to our paper [1] are the following:

  • • Three lines below Fig. 4, ${d_0}$ = 0.32 µm should be replaced by ${d_0}$ = 0.31 µm, so that the relevant sentence reads as “The optimum point over 0.1 µm $\le {d_0} \le $ 0.4 µm and 10% $\le f \le $ 60% is determined to be ${d_0}$ = 0.31 µm and f = 38%, …”
  • • In the last paragraph in p. 2537, z-direction should be replaced by $- $z-direction, so that the relevant sentence reads as “This is related to electric energy density distribution in the fibers for light incident in the $- $z-direction shown in Fig. 6(G) and Fig. 6(H) …”
