A novel and economical approach for fabricating compound refractive lenses for the purpose of focusing hard X-rays is described in this paper, and this illustration shows a sequence of magnified images of the focused X-ray beam. See Fig. 7 in Stöhr et al. Opt. Mater. Express 5, 2804-2811 (2015).
