Abstract
This Erratum is presented to correct the reported [Opt. Lett. 37, 3570 (2012)] power of the generated long wavelength, mid-infrared power.

The mid-infrared (MIR) power level of 1.5 mW [1] at a wavelength of was erroneously measured using a HgCdTe photoconductive detector. The detectivity of the HgCdTe detector was misunderstood when used with an amplifier. We have now measured the mid-infrared power with a thermal detector and have determined that the published power level was too high by a factor of 50. The correct MIR power generated from the two-color fiber laser systems would be just 30 µW.
