Axial nonimaging characteristics of imaging lenses: erratum

Abstract

A correction is provided for the dimension $r^{'}$ in Fig. 12 of J. Opt. Soc. Am. A 33, 970 (2016) [CrossRef] .

There was a mislabeling for the dimension $r^{'}$ in Fig. 12 of the original paper [1]. This dimension should be given by the distance between the differential area ${da}^{'} \cos θ^{'}$ and the tip of the image, as shown in the corrected Fig. 12 presented here.
