Abstract
The color matching characteristics for tritanopia reported recently by one of us (W.D.W.) have been used to make a new determination of the tritanopic confusion loci. These loci cut the spectrum locus twice, once in the yellow-green and once in the blue and violet, and their point of convergence has been located in the chromaticity chart for a modified C.I.E. observer. Using two other stimuli similar in position to the “red” and “green” fundamental stimuli found by Pitt and Walters, new fundamental response curves have been calculated.
