Speckleless color dynamic three-dimensional holographic display based on complex amplitude modulation: erratum

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We present an erratum to our recent work [Appl. Opt. 60, 7844–7848 (2021) [CrossRef]  ] that corrects errors in Eqs. (5) and (8). All the simulations and experiments in the original paper were performed using the correct equations, and therefore, the corrections do not affect the results and conclusions of the original paper.

Errors have been found in Eqs. (5) and (8) of our paper [1]. The equations are corrected as follows:

$$\begin{split}H(x,y) = \exp [jA(x,y) \sin\varphi (x,y)]\\ = \sum\limits_{n = - \infty}^\infty {{J_n}[A(x,y)]} \exp [jn\varphi (x,y)]\end{split}$$
$${\rm SC} = \frac{{\sqrt {\frac{1}{N}\sum\limits_{j = 1}^N {{{({I_j} - {I_a})}^2}}}}}{{{I_a}}}$$

The correct equations were used in all the simulations and experiments in the original paper. Therefore, the corrections do not influence the results and conclusions of the original paper.
