Abstract
A new method for measuring the exponential nonlinearity of a spectrophotometer is presented that uses the reflectance from a glass–water interface as a reflection standard. The method is equivalent in absolute accuracy to other, more complicated schemes, but is simple to use and requires relatively little additional equipment.
