Abstract
The narrower zone of clear vision, in particular for intermediate and near viewing, for Progressive Addition Lens (PAL) compared to single vision (SV) has been identified to modify visual behaviour. However, to date this effect has not been objectively quantified. The purpose of the investigation was therefore to develop and evaluate an investigational protocol to quantify eye and head movements for representative visual tasks carried out with PAL and single vision spectacles.
