Abstract
Many researches have been performed on the electrochromic devices for various applications. The phenomenon of electrochromism is reversible color change in a material caused by an applied electric field or current. Such devices typically have a five–layer construction. We report a novel four–layer electrochromic device in which the ion storage layer and the ion conductor layer were replaced with a film of AI2O3.
