Abstract

We report a detailed study of a Rydberg state of Na2, (5)1Σg+, by means of cw two-steep excitation spectroscopy (5)1Σg+A1Σu+X1Σg+ ; 270 levels in the state were measured with high resolution. These levels are located between 32,500 and 35,400 cm1.
