Abstract
Wavelength-division multiplexing and demultiplexing is recognized as a powerful means for increasing the channel density and bandwidth of data transmission and processing systems.1 Herein, we report on the development of a new four-channel integrated-optic wavelength-division demultiplexer, using multiplexed waveguide holographic gratings patterned on a locally sensitized single-mode polymer (photo-lime gelatin) microstructure waveguide.
