Abstract
We measured the peak wavelength of the transmitted light when the temperature is changed, and estimated the repeatability and linearity. Fig. 2 shows the experimental set up. Light emitted from an SLD is led to this filter, and the transmitted light is measured by a spectrum analyzer with the finest resolution of 0.2 nm. Fig. 3 shows the experimental result. The horizontal and the vertical axis express temperature and the peak wavelength, respectively. From this result, the repeatability of the proposed filter using thermal expansion is known within ±0.2 nm, on the other hand the repeatability of the filter using piezoelectric device is about ±2 nm.
