Abstract
A phase-conjugate mirror with stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) is a most promising optical device for a beam cleanup of the rare-gas-halide excimer lasers. Here a single-stage high-beam- quality XeCl laser with the phase-conjugate SBS mirror is demonstrated using a long-pulsed device.
